Country-specific version: Should the centre armrest become  
locked in an accident, its functionality remains intact.  
In this case, remove rear centre console β‡’ page 46 and release  
centre armrest.

– Remove trim at rear of centre console β‡’ page 46 .  
– Remove air duct -1- for rear centre console vent β‡’ Heating,  
air conditioning; Rep. gr. 87 ; Air duct; Assembly overview -  
air duct and air distribution in passenger compartment .

– Unscrew 2 bolts -1- for centre armrest.  
– Pull centre armrest -2- upwards out of centre console.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal.
