– Remove interior mirror -2- from glued-on retaining plate -1-.
Installing
Note
Before installing, check all fasteners for damage and renew if
necessary.
Install in reverse order of removal.

Removing
– Switch off ignition.
– Press the cover, cable conduit, -1- slightly inwards at the sides,
in the transitional area leading to the cover -2- and carefully
push in direction of moulded headliner.
– Remove cap, cable duct, -1-.
– Slightly bend cover -2- outwards at the sides and pull down‐
wards off mirror.
– Insert screwdriver -1- or drift with a diameter of exactly 4.5 mm
into gap -arrow-.
Caution
When performing the following step, ensure that the screw‐
driver/drift is inserted while turning but do not use as a lever.

– Turn interior mirror -2- at mirror base anti-clockwise by approx.
20° -arrow-.
– Pull off interior mirror -2- downwards.

– Replace spring clip -2- on interior mirror -3- by a new part.
– Fit interior mirror turned by 20° in anti-clockwise direction onto
retaining plate.
Note

Make sure that the mirror is aligned parallel to the retaining plate.
– Turn mirror clockwise until it audibly engages in retaining
plate.
Continue installation in reverse order of removal.
Installation tips: for example tightening torques, renewing com‐

Removing
– Switch off ignition.
– Using wedge - T10383/1- -1-, unclip cover for front camera
-2- from catches in front section of roof console.
– Carefully push cover for front camera -2- slightly downwards
using wedge -1-.
– This action will result in a gap between installed mirror base
covers -3- and -4-, -arrows A and B-.
– Using removal wedge - 3409- , push locking tab -C- of left mir‐
ror base cover -3-.
– Remove right mirror base cover -4- first.
– Then remove left mirror base cover -3-.
– Remove cover for front camera -2-.
