Seat belt verification
11.1
Removing and installing Seat occupied
sensor, front passenger side - G128-
Note
The seat occupied sensor is only installed in the front passenger
seat.
Removing
•
Front passenger seat must be in rearmost and highest position
– If fitted, remove storage compartment from under seat
⇒ page 310 .
– Disconnect electrical connector -2- for seat occupied sensor.
– Unclip mounting -1- from seat pan -arrows-, and detach seat
occupied sensor -3-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
Note
♦ Ensure that the electrical connectors are pushed fully onto
stop and engage audibly.
♦ If airbag warning lamp - K75- indicates a fault following instal‐
lation, event memory must be read, deleted and then read
again ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester.
