Removing and installing holder of pres‐
sure differential sender for particulate
filter -G1037-
– Pull off connector -1- of pressure differential sender for par‐
ticulate filter -G1037-.
– Remove catalytic converter ⇒ page 550 .
– Unscrew bolts -arrows- and nut -1-. Detach cover section.
– Unscrew bolts -arrows-, and detach bracket with hoses.
Installing
The assembly steps are basically a reverse of the dismantling
procedure.

Removing and installing exhaust flap
control unit -J883/J945-, Passat CJXA,

Note
The description of work is applicable for the left exhaust flap
control unit -J883- and the right exhaust flap control unit 2
-J945-.
Removing
– Separate electrical connector:
– Unscrew nuts -arrows-, and remove exhaust flap control unit
-1-.
Installing
– The key on exhaust flap control unit -1- must engage in
grooves -arrows- on exhaust flap.
– Tighten new nuts of exhaust flap control unit to 3 Nm.
– Connect electrical connector.
