Raise the third row seats
If a person is sitting in a seat whose backrest
is not well embedded, they will be thrown
forwards together with the backrest if there is a
sudden stop, a sudden maneuver or an accident.
Β· When a rear seat or its backrest is
folded down or not correctly embedded, never
transport anyone in the corresponding seats, not
even a child.
Β· A red mark on the release lever ΓΏ fig. 90
indicates that the backrest is not engaged. If
the backrest is properly attached, the
mark is not seen.

Introduction to the topic
Β· Never fold or raise the back of the rear seat while
driving.
The adjustment options and removal of the head
restraints are described below. Always make sure
that the seats are correctly adjusted ΓΏ p. 43.
Β· When raising the back of the rear seat, be sure
not to pinch or damage the seat belt.
Β· When lowering and lifting, keep your hands,
fingers, feet and other parts of the body out of
the operating area of the seat hinges and locking
mechanism.
All seats are equipped with head restraints.
The head restraints have been specially approved
for the corresponding seats. For this reason, do not
mount them in another place in the vehicle.
Β· Throw rugs or other objects could get caught in
the seat or backrest hinges. This would cause
the seat or backrest to not lock correctly when
placed in the upright position.
The rear center head restraint (depending on
equipment) is only intended for the center rear seat.
Therefore, do not mount it in any other square.
Β· In order for the safety belts in the rear seats to
offer the necessary protection, all the rear
seatbacks must always be correctly embedded
in the vertical position.
There are notches in the head restraint bars that
allow the head restraints to lock into various positions.
The head restraints can only in

Correct head restraint adjustment
Adjust the head restraint so that the top edge of the
head restraint is level with the top of your head, but
never below your eyes.
Always keep the back of your head as close to the
headrest as possible.
On vehicles with longitudinally adjustable head
restraints on the front seats, move the head restraint
as close to the back of the head as possible.
Adjusting the head restraint for a short person
Lower the head restraint as far as it will go even if
your head is below the top edge of the head restraint.
In the lowest position there may be a small gap
between the head restraint and the seat back.

WARNING
Driving with the head restraint removed or
incorrectly adjusted increases the risk of serious
injury or death in the event of an accident, sudden
braking and sudden manoeuvres.
Β· Always drive with the head restraints mounted and
correctly adjusted for those seats that are occupied.
Β· Adjust the headrest of your seat according to
to his height.
Β· Never adjust the head restraints during
March.
WARNING
When removing and installing the head restraints,
avoid hitting the headliner, front seat back, or other
parts of the vehicle. Otherwise, damage may occur.
