Automatic connection when driving forward  
Particularities in case of towing a trailer  
The parking aid is activated automatically when the vehicle  
slowly approaches an obstacle while driving forward.  
When an electrically connected trailer is connected, the rear  
parking aid sensors do not connect:  
1. Activate or deactivate the function in the vehicle settings of  
the infotainment system ÿ p. 41.  
— No obstacles are warned.  
— In addition, the braking function when maneuvering is deactivated  
automatically deactivated.  
If the driver deactivates the parking aid, it will no longer be  
activated automatically.  
Personalization  
Under the following circumstances, the automatic connection  
will be available again:

volume of the acoustic signals, in the user accounts of the

The reversing assist camera mounted at the rear of the  
vehicle makes it easier for the driver to see to the rear and  
assists in parking.
