Install the front head restraints  
1. Place the headrest in the correct position on top of  
the corresponding backrest guides and insert it  
into them.  
2. Press down on the head restraint until the bars

1. If necessary, adjust the seat back so that it

1. Move the rear seat all the way back.  
When the center armrest is lowered, do not allow  
anyone to ride in the center position of the rear seat.  
2. Pull the lever ÿ fig. 99 and raise the seat back so  
that it is in an upright position.  
WARNING  
The entire seat is lowered ÿ .  
To reduce the risk of injury while driving, the rear  
center armrest should always remain raised.  
The seat has to fit well. The red mark on the seat  
guide should no longer be visible ÿ .  
· When the center armrest is lowered, never allow  
anyone to ride in the center seat of the rear  
seat, neither adults nor children. Serious injuries  
can be sustained from sitting in the wrong  
position.  
WARNING  
If the access aid is used carelessly or without due  
attention, it can cause accidents and serious  
injuries.  
Never use the access aid during the

· When a rear seat or its backrest is

The settings are activated after unlocking the vehicle and  
opening the driver's door.

Initialize memory function  
When the function is activated, the lumbar support moves, thus  
massaging the lower back.  
If, for example, the driver's seat is replaced, the memory  
system will need to be initialized.  
The arching of the lumbar support can be adjusted according to  
personal preferences by pressing the corresponding knob  
several times during the massage ÿ p. 100.  
Initialization clears all memories and memory function  
assignments. The memory keys can then be reprogrammed  
and assigned to a vehicle key.  
Activating and deactivating the massage  
1. Open the driver's door, but do not get in the vehicle.
